1950s Danish Teak FD137 “Japan” Chair by Finn Juhl for France & Daverkosen
1950s Danish Teak FD137 “Japan” Chair by Finn Juhl for France & Daverkosen
We are thrilled to introduce a highly coveted and iconic collectible chair designed by Finn Juhl for France & Daverkosen. The Model FD137, also known as the “Japan” chair, was inspired by Finn Juhl's visit to Japan in the early 1950s, where he was captivated by the simple beauty of a Japanese temple door. This particular example is a first production and has been scarcely used, remaining in exceptional condition. Gently restored by our team, it is now freshly covered in Kvadrat “Divina” fabric, staying true to the period and style. This incredible piece is in showroom condition and ready to be added to your collection, to be enjoyed for another generation.
