An iconic 1950s dining set by Hans Wegner, featuring the sculptural “Heart” chairs paired with a matching round dining table.
The chairs are a masterclass in Wegner’s organic modern language. Softly curved teak backrests float between slender oak legs, creating a form that is at once graphic and deeply ergonomic. The heart-shaped negative space is subtle yet unmistakable, giving the set its enduring name and character.
The round teak table anchors the group beautifully, with warm, expressive grain and clean proportions that allow the chairs to read as the primary sculptural elements. Together, the set feels intimate, architectural, and timeless.
This example has been freshly cleaned and polished, presenting in excellent restored condition throughout. Structurally sound, visually cohesive, and ready for daily use.
A rare and highly collectible Wegner dining ensemble from one of Denmark’s most important makers.
