Designed by Poul Cadovius and produced by France & Son in Denmark around 1960, this square coffee table reflects the more architectural side of Danish modern furniture. The design combines a carefully composed rosewood top with a restrained metal structure, creating a clear relationship between material richness and visual lightness.
The rosewood top displays strong grain movement and a carefully arranged geometric pattern across the surface. A thin metal edge detail frames the top and creates a precise transition between the wood surface and the supporting structure below. The slender cylindrical metal legs are set inward at the corners, giving the table a light, floating appearance.

The table remains in excellent vintage condition. The rosewood top is flat and well preserved, with no significant staining, cracking, or structural issues noted. The metal base is stable and presents well, with age-appropriate surface wear consistent with use.
