A 1960s Danish bar cabinet in rosewood, defined by its compact proportions and elevated stance on tapered legs. The case is constructed with well-matched rosewood veneer, showing a consistent and expressive grain across the front and sides. Integrated pulls and minimal hardware maintain a restrained exterior.
The cabinet opens with two drop-down doors that fold fully to a horizontal position, forming a continuous serving surface. Inside, the layout is divided into two sections: the left side features two sliding shelves, while the right side includes two adjustable shelves, allowing for flexible storage of bottles, glassware, and bar accessories.
The piece is in excellent condition, with a clean interior and well-preserved exterior surfaces. The doors operate smoothly and align properly when closed.
A practical and well-resolved example of Danish cabinetmaking, combining storage and serving functions within a compact form.
