A set of three Danish Modern nesting tables dating to the 1960s, combining warm teak surfaces with slender tapered legs and a compact, highly functional nesting construction.
Each table features a rectangular teak top with subtly rounded, raised edges that soften the otherwise restrained geometry of the design. The broad surfaces display expressive linear grain, while the carefully shaped perimeter creates a thin profile when viewed from the side.
The supporting frames are equally understated, with four slender tapered legs connected by horizontal stretchers. The proportions of each table have been carefully graduated so that the three pieces slide together to form a compact stack when not in use. Nested, the closely layered tops create a particularly clean architectural profile; separated, the tables can be distributed throughout a room as individual side or occasional tables.
The three different heights make the set particularly versatile alongside lounge seating, with each table functioning independently while maintaining a consistent visual language. The compact nesting arrangement also makes the set well suited to interiors where additional surface space is useful without permanently occupying a larger footprint.
The tables are presented in vintage condition, retaining age-related character and surface wear consistent with use. Please refer to the photographs for a detailed view of the condition.
