A superb 1960s teak modular wall system designed by Kai Kristiansen for FM Møbler, Denmark. This system exemplifies the refined functionality and timeless elegance of Danish modern design, offering a versatile arrangement of open shelving and enclosed storage.
The unit includes multiple adjustable teak shelves supported by full-length wall posts, along with a cabinet featuring sliding doors and beautifully crafted interior drawers with dovetail joinery. All four wall posts are present in their full length — a rare and highly desirable detail that allows for impressive scale and flexibility in configuration.
Presented in incredible original condition, the warm teak surfaces display a rich patina that highlights the natural grain. Distinctive recessed circular pulls and precise craftsmanship showcase Kristiansen’s thoughtful design language.
Ideal for a living room, office, or library, this piece serves as both a functional storage solution and a collectible example of Danish mid-century modernism.
