This display cabinet was designed by Poul Hundevad and produced by Hundevad & Co in Denmark during the 1960s. It is crafted in rosewood, with a clean architectural form defined by its strong horizontal lines and richly figured grain. The proportions are generous while remaining visually restrained, allowing the cabinet to function as both storage and display.
The composition combines open shelving, record storage compartments, a glass shelf, and a sliding door element that can be positioned in different sections of the cabinet. This flexible arrangement allows the piece to shift between open display and concealed storage depending on use. A recessed niche with integrated lighting introduces contrast and depth within the composition, creating a focal point while softly illuminating displayed objects.
The cabinet can function in a variety of environments. It works naturally as a bookcase in an office or living room, as storage for ceramics and kitchenware, or as a bar cabinet within a dining space. The open structure and adaptable layout support multiple configurations and uses.

The cabinet is in very good vintage condition. The structure is solid, the sliding elements function smoothly, and the rosewood surfaces remain clean and well preserved. The lighting niche is fully functional.
