This side table, model JH566A, was designed by Hans J. Wegner and produced by Johannes Hansen in Denmark in the 1960s.
The piece is defined by a clear relationship between materials and structure. The top is executed in teak, with a warm tone and subtle grain variation, resting on a solid oak frame that introduces contrast and balance.
The construction is direct and precise. The frame is carefully proportioned, with a light visual presence that supports the thicker top. The joinery is clean and legible, allowing the structure to remain visible without distraction.
Its compact scale makes it suitable as a side table or occasional table. It works well next to a lounge chair or as a standalone surface within a seating arrangement.
