Designed by Adolf Relling and Rolf Rastad and produced by Gustav Bahus in Norway during the 1960s, the Klarinett loveseat is one of the defining pieces of Norwegian Modern design. The frame is crafted entirely from solid teak, showcasing beautifully sculpted armrests that flow seamlessly into the front legs. This example retains its original light beige textured upholstery, which complements the warm tone of the teak and reinforces the understated character of the design. The loveseat remains in excellent vintage condition. The frame is solid and well preserved, with a beautiful natural patina that has developed through decades of careful ownership. The upholstery presents very well, showing only light, age-appropriate wear consistent with a well-maintained original piece.
