1970s Brazilian Wood and Leather MP91 Chair by Percival Lafer
We are delighted to introduce the Brazilian Modern 'MP91' chair, designed by Percival Lafer for Móveis Lafer in the 1970s. This exquisite piece showcases a robust Brazilian cherry wood frame constructed with through tenon joinery, thoughtfully assembled using tusk wedges. The leather-clad foam seat gracefully rests upon leather straps, fastened to the frame with exposed dowels, exemplifying a graceful combination of aesthetic and functionality.
The entire chair has undergone a comprehensive restoration performed by our highly skilled artisans. The seat now boasts a pristine covering of top-grade aniline leather. Our team takes immense pride in executing every aspect of this restoration by hand, allowing us to share our unwavering passion for craftsmanship in a truly distinctive manner.
