A striking example of 1970s Finnish modernist design, the “Concorde” sofa was designed by Matti Halme for Peem Ltd.
Characterized by its low, elongated profile, generously rounded arms, and softly sculpted cushions, the sofa combines bold architectural proportions with a relaxed, inviting form. The original red leather upholstery provides a rich contrast to the polished chrome-plated metal feet.
The sofa retains its original leather, which remains in good vintage condition with minor age-related wear and a natural patina. All cushions have received new foam, restoring their comfort and support while preserving the original upholstery. The chrome-plated feet have also been polished.
A distinctive and well-preserved example of Finnish modernist furniture from the 1970s.
