Designed by Niels Otto Møller in 1974, the Model 83 dining chair is one of the most recognizable expressions of Danish modern design. Produced by J.L. Møllers Møbelfabrik in Denmark, the chair combines refined craftsmanship, organic form, and exceptional comfort within a remarkably light and elegant structure.
This set consists of four original vintage chairs dating from the period. The sculpted solid wood frames retain the graceful lines and carefully balanced proportions that have made the Model 83 a lasting favorite among collectors and design enthusiasts. The seats have been professionally restored and upholstered in new light brown genuine leather, providing a fresh appearance while respecting the original character of the design.
The gently curved backrest offers excellent support, while the generous seat width and subtle shaping create a comfortable dining experience. As with the finest work from J.L. Møllers Møbelfabrik, the quality of the joinery and finishing remains evident throughout.
The chairs are in excellent restored condition. The frames have been cleaned and refreshed, and the new leather upholstery presents beautifully. The structure of each chair is solid and ready for daily use.
A thoughtful example of Danish modern furniture, where craftsmanship, comfort, and proportion remain as relevant today as when the design was first introduced.
