A Pianura square table designed in 1971 by Mario Bellini and produced by Cassina in Italy.
The table follows the same construction language as the seating elements, with a low profile and slatted Italian walnut surface. The form is simple and architectural, defined by clear proportions and a consistent material expression.
The slatted surface introduces rhythm while maintaining a restrained presence. Softly rounded edges and precise joinery contribute to a cohesive relationship between the table and the broader Pianura system.
In addition to its function as a side table, this piece can also serve as a base for an ottoman with the addition of a custom cushion. This dual function reflects the flexibility inherent in Bellini’s modular approach.
The table remains in excellent vintage condition. The surface shows consistent grain and tone, and the structure is solid and well preserved.
