Step into a piece of sci-fi history with this rare 1980s modular lounge set by Canadian designer Paul Boulva for Artopex—famously featured in Star Trek: The Next Generation. These sculptural “Suspension” chairs, with their futuristic curves and deep teal upholstery, were prominently used in the Ten Forward lounge aboard the USS Enterprise-D, as well as in Star Trek: Voyager .
Designed in the 1980s, each chair showcases a continuous, flowing silhouette supported by molded black bases, embodying the Space Age aesthetic. The set includes four lounge chairs and a matching coffee table with a black laminate top. The original fabric has been freshly cleaned and is in fantastic vintage condition.
This set is not only a testament to innovative Canadian design but also a collectible piece of television history, making it perfect for interiors seeking personality, comfort, and a touch of interstellar flair.
