Designed by Finn Juhl in 1953 and executed by master cabinetmaker Niels Vodder, the NV53 represents the height of Danish cabinetmaker craftsmanship. The floating arm construction, elevated back, and exposed brass spacers create separation between elements. Nothing feels heavy. Everything feels intentional.
This example is crafted in teak and retains its Illums Bolighus retailer plaque, placing it firmly in the context of Copenhagen’s most important design house.
